We flew Space-A (a military hop for free) to Hawaii. The cargo jet was a C-17. It was pretty cushy for a 5 hour flight. The only problem we had was getting Max to wear earplugs because it is so loud. (If you military folks need some info on how to do take a hop, we are happy to share traveling tips. It is so worth the free cost.)
She zonked and didn't mind the earplugs one bit.
The food was awesome. Brig felt like he was in Japan again with all the Japanese people and
restaurants. We tried several dishes that were among his favorites while on his mission. We ate all the fresh fruit we could, and when we couldn't eat anymore, we had fruit smoothies. Our hotel had an awesome view of Wikiki and as expected, the weather was perfect. With the free flight, it was quite an inexpensive little vacation for us.

Shayla!!! I LOVE military hops!!! Free and easy! We've done them to Hawaii and England! Military has awesome benefits! Where are you guys stationed?
