Watch the other one first.... this is the AFTERMATH!

The Birthday Video

Brig couldn't get this to work, so I am posting it.

I left my camera cable in Gillette so it will be a few

days before I can put pictures of the real deal.

Happy Birthday Max!

It is hard to believe that it has already been a year since Max was born! What a blessing he has been to us. We had a little birthday party for him at the end of December while I was home from Iraq for vacation so I could celebrate with him. We gave him a cake and he went to town, as you can see from the pictures below. If you want the full effect and have a few minutes, the videos will put a smile on your face. This kid loves cake! Well, I hope you have a great day and get to eat more cake! I love you, you cute little buster. Love, Daddy

Our Valentine's Day cont....

In Gillette, Wyoming: My sisters and I went to the new indoor waterpark. We might
have had more fun than the kids. Little Max only liked the hot tub
since it resembled a bath.

Goofy little boys...

Yummy food!

and lots of kisses... (a real gentleman closes his eyes!)

Our Valentine's Day...

In Iraq: COL Weatherstone and CPT Udall
Brig was promoted to Captain.

Here is Brig getting pinned. Normally, I would get to
do the honors. The last time he was promoted I was suppose
to kiss him on the cheek but I kissed him on the lips and he
wasn't allowed to move so it was really awkward
(I didn't get kissed in return and he just stared straight ahead
and a ton of people were there watching it all)... but he told
me that he wished I would have been able to pin him and that
I could have kissed him on the lips and he wouldn't have been
embarassed at all. We are happy little Valentine lovers.

The last time as LT Udall

CONGRATULATIONS Captain Udall... Wish we could have been a part. We are proud of you.

Instead of a stick, Max retrieves a book... Good Boy!

Sorry to bore you all with videos. This one is especially for Dad and cousin Bridger, who asks his mom throughout the day, "I want to go see Max do something!" We read about 20 books a day... in the morning when I still want to be in bed because it is 5:45, I read them to him on the couch in my sleep, sometimes I get hit with flying books if I don't crack one eye.
