Si Guy, as Max likes to call Silas, is over 2 weeks old. We had a little scare with him that caused a 3 day hospital stay, but he is doing well. He has a heart condition called SVT and has to be on heart meds because his heart has an accessory pathway and at any given moment, his heart can get out of rhythm and beat 2 times faster than it should. When Brig took him to the doctor at a week old, they found it was beating incredibly fast and he was rushed to the ER. Luckily, structurally his heart is perfect - just has this electrical glitch. Now, when we say bless his little heart... it means a bit more! We were grateful for the prayers and support during this time. He has had a rough start, but is quite the fighter. Here are just some more recent pictures of him.

Congrats on Silas! Sorry to hear about his SVT. I have that too. Actually made a trip to the ER a few months ago because of it. Mine's never been bad enough to put on medication though. Poor little guy!
Poor little guy. I'm glad he's back home and max and Avalon are loving him. I like the family picture but I love the picture with your arm securing max's hold on Silas.
