A Weekend with the Waldmanns

We have made so many memories with cousins.  The Waldmanns moved to Cheyenne, WY in December and we have enjoyed spending time with their family.  Here are some pictures when we spent a few days at their house this summer.  We walked across the people bridge, went to the botanical gardens, and enjoyed their cool children's adventure park.

Our summer was a bit crazy.  We spent May living downtown with Grandpa Craig since our rental sold and we couldn't close on our new house until June.  Although commuting to the kid's school and Brig's work was an annoyance, we loved the downtown life.  Grandpa grilled, taught the kid's chess, took them to Rockies games, and we swam.  The kids swam every chance we had.  We traveled the first three weeks in June and then moved into our new place the very last week.

Girls Girls Girls

We got to spend lots of time with our girl cousins this summer.  Avalon was in heaven... she loves their family because they are the only cousins on both sides that have girls that are somewhat close in age to her and old enough to appreciate dressing up, doing makeup, and having a good dance party.  We did hair, make-up, and nails one day for these girls.  It was such fun!

Avalon is turning 6 and so...

As a little gift to her, I am going to do some serious catch up blogging.  She loves to look at the pictures on here and when she gets her screen time, this is what she wants to do so I am giving her a lot of new pictures to look at.  We love Avalon and have been so impressed with the girl that she is becoming.  

Here she is with two of her kindergarten friends, Madison and Genne.  She is so social and loves a good playdate.  These girls are so cute and creative.
