Precious Aya

Aya Papaya turned 1 a month ago...

She just looks like a 6-month-old. This girl is not near as aggressive as our other babies. She was so hesitant and slow with her cake. She ate her piece but touching each piece was as if she was grabbing worms. She was quiet as well. She might have loved her bath after more than the cake itself. We love Aya. She is so sweet and gentle yet silly and fun. She handles the harassment of her other siblings quite well and makes each day exciting. We celebrated with Grandpa and Grandma and Aunt Jewlsie. Little Grandma suggested Chinese food and we had inexpensive, yummy take-out from New China Cafe. If you come to Denver and love Chinese, you have to hit up this joint. It is awesome!

Thanksgiving with Little Grandma, Grandpa Craig, and the Jensens

Nothing beats Thanksgiving dinner made by your mom and a cheesecake by Brig.
I hadn't had my mom's yummy stuffing, pototoes, and pie for over 10 years.  It was
delish and Brig's cheesecake is now a tradition.  My dad barbequed ribs - and I liked that better than turkey!  The adults watched football while the chitlins dressed up in Aunt Jewls crazy clothes.  We are grateful for family and the memories made.

Happy New Year!
