It's... Summer Time!

You may find us in one of three places this summer - at

the library, the park, or the duck pond!  We are loving

our new little summer hut because it is just a short walk

to all three and we have spent some serious time in the

sun.  The kids are gearing up to learn to swim and ride

two-wheeled bikes.  Our home entertainment is none other

than Si Guy, whom we just can't get enough of.

Peanut reminds us so much of Camie, so it is only appropriate to put a sweet picture of her on her today since it is Camie's birthday. (She would be celebrating her 38th.) A few more pics of the birthday cake and fun to come later. She just got out of bed to tell me that she will be by best friend forever, even when she is a mom and I am an old grandma. So presh!

Happy Birthday, Grandma Gilbert!

We had Grandma over for her 83rd birthday. Brig fried up some yummy shrimp... and we made her favorite German chocolate cake. The kids even made a pin the candle on the cake for us to play.

We're going to the Zoo.... how about you?
