Wyoming Part 2 - Breakfast Crepes and The Park

I learned a great thing from the Germans while on my mission -how to make a real yummy crepe. My brother-in-law, Jeremy, always requests them when I come to town. It has become tradition to do a crepe feast. We do the works - nutella, whip cream, fruit, sugar and butter, and carmel. Somehow, Avalon didn't throw up but she was still hurting!

I'm obsessed with swing pictures because I can always get smiles from the kids but this time, I was a little late with the camera. I still think they are so darn cute, especially Connor.

Wyoming Part 1 - The Bridge and The Max

These two boys are just the best of buddies and play for hours on end when they are together. Max shed some crocodile tears the night before we left. Good thing we'll be seeing them this weekend again!

Baby Moon #3/Anniversary Get-Away

While in Wyoming for the week, we left for a night without the kids to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy a little baby moon. With my parents moving to Colorado, we figured we better hit up all the places in that area that we had yet seen. The first to check off the list was Mt. Rushmore. We stayed the night in Spearfish Canyon in South Dakota and ate at the best breakfast cafe in the world. They serve homemade sourdough pancakes that cover your whole plate and their famous biscuits and gravy. If you ever pass through on I-90, you have to stop at Cheyenne Crossing. The canyon was beautiful. We spent the morning at the Roughlock Falls just less than a half-mile from our lodge.

Let the fun begin!

The nice part about Brig being in school is the summer. Although he still does externships (for free), he is still more flexible and home more often. We just got back from a vacation to Wyoming and after spending so much time with him, it is always hard on all of us when he goes back to work... We really can't complain and all I have to do to be grateful is remember the long months of deployment. Here are some photos of the kids with their papa and just some random ones that he snapped. I will post some photos of our trip to Wyoming for my sister's graduation soon.

Max speaks and speaks and speaks...

This morning

Mom: Did you have bad dreams last night?

Max: No, I didn't. I had good dreams because Jesus came to me and helped me. But Peanut, she had bad dreams because Jesus couldn't come to her because her door was closed.

Little Ms. Priss Peanut

This girl is ALL GIRL. She didn't get her love of necklaces, bracelets, bows, dresses, shoes, and clothes from me! (How does this happen?) She wakes up in the morning and drags shoes around and asks for her necklace. About a month ago, we put her in a toddler bed and she did just fine until she discovered she could pull all of her clothes out of her drawers. Now, she only has clothes in the top drawer. After a nap a few days ago, she brought me all of these shoes in the bathroom within minutes. Thanks to Aunt Morgan, she has shoes coming out her ears...

Need less to say, I'm already scared for her teenage years. Yippeee for another boy!
